Lola Sulyman studied Literature in college and earned a master's degree in Public Health from Mercer University in Georgia. A veteran of the U.S. Army, she is also a survivor of bipolar disorder. With the help of medical support, she channels her racing thoughts into positive affirmations, transforming her experiences into creativity, strength and resilience
I love my bedroom. My bed is plush and incredibly cozy, the perfect spot where I can observe life quietly from behind the scenes. Until I thought about a woman who was swallowed by her bed.
I’ve been living with bipolar disorder for 10 years now, experiencing extreme racing thoughts, obsession, anxiety, insomnia, and "S" addiction. I’m no longer ashamed to share my story or worry about what others might think. When I eventually broke free from a relationship, I realized I needed to liberate myself from the constraints I had placed on my own life. I want to embrace this life fully, regardless of how long I have left. I want to fulfill my purpose and walk this journey as a human in this land of the living.
